・YATONO USB-V2 is an audio-grade USB cable designed for the increasingly popular TYPE-C connector, featuring updated wiring from the traditional YATONO-USB.
・The high-quality construction has been redesigned, incorporating the high-fidelity technology introduced in the development of MURAKUMO2-USB.。
・The connectors are selectable from Type-C, Standard-A, and Standard-B options.
・Developed specifically for audio purposes with a focus on sound quality, employing Brise Audio's original wiring material, the same used in ACCURATE-USB and MURAKUMO-USB.
A special high-performance single crystal copper is used for the conductor. The cable features a double shielding with an OFC braided shield around the outer perimeter and an aluminum foil/PET composite film shield. Additionally,
an OFC braided shield is added to the core wires for data communication. These features not only protect against external noise but also address interference between power lines and data transmission lines.
The data lines are designed with a differential impedance of 90Ω, and the transmission specifications conform to those of standard USB cables.
・Sound quality tuning is conducted using Brise Audio's unique high-fidelity technology, which includes several materials such as their proprietary special CNT material※1 and BS sheet※2.
In the YATONO USB-V2, the ultra-high-cost special materials used in the MURAKUMO2-USB are selectively employed in specific areas to maximize their effectiveness.

In the YATONO USB-V2, we have strategically limited the use of the ultra-high-cost special materials employed in MURAKUMO2-USB to carefully selected areas to ensure maximum effectiveness.
In the YATONO grade of home audio cables, they are designed to deliver greater effects when paired with audio systems that focus on the middle to high-end range.
Through repeated listening tests and experiments, it has been realized that USB cables, which transmit higher frequencies than traditional digital transmissions such as S/PDIF and AES, especially near DACs and analog circuitry, require extremely sensitive measures. These measures are not only for the traditional data transmission requirements but also for the impact on sound quality for audio equipment.
Based on the expertise gained from these experiments, Brise Audio's USB cables have been developed.

To take advantage of the superior properties of CNT, we have conducted joint experiments and comparative listening tests in collaboration with national research institutions and cooperating material manufacturers. Through this three-party collaboration, we have developed the optimal materials.
As representative characteristics of CNT (Carbon Nanotubes), they have a strength 20 times that of steel, thermal conductivity 10 times that of copper, and half the density of aluminum. They also possess excellent shielding capabilities and various other useful physical properties.

The Type-C to C cable supports USB-PD (Power Delivery) with a maximum current of 3A.
The cable has connected CC pins, allowing communication between devices and automatic recognition of the upstream host side (Source) and the downstream device side (Sink).
When connecting devices like smartphones and Android-equipped DAPs, which can both serve as host and device in a dual-role setup,
the specification allows for the host side to be determined randomly in some cases.
If the smartphone does not become the host, please try re-recognizing it by unplugging and replugging the cable.
