The BSHP series of headphone re-cables for SONY headphones has been updated to V2 across three models, and the product detail pages for each are now publicly available. Please note that orders for the previous (V1) models have already been closed.
This V2 update introduces the following two changes.
(1) The headphone-side connector with a screw-locking mechanism, located at the tip of the cable, has been replaced with a new type.
(2) A new tube has been added to the base of the headphone-side connector — blue on the BSHP for M1 V2 and red on the BSHP for M1ST V2 (the BSHP for MV1 V2 does not include a tube).
The headphone units and their supported models remain unchanged. Each cable continues to be dedicated to the MDR-M1, MDR-MV1, and MDR-M1ST respectively. The wire material, connector lineup, cable lengths, and price, along with all other specifications, are unchanged from the previous models.
Within the BSHP series as a whole, only these three models have been updated to V2 at this time.
The product names have been updated as follows (the "BriseHP" prefix has also been unified to "BSHP").
- BSHP for M1 → BSHP for M1 V2
- BSHP for MV1 → BSHP for MV1 V2
- BriseHP for MDR-M1ST → BSHP for M1ST V2
